Massachusetts men's basketball coach Travis Ford interviewed for the head job at Providence yesterday.

As of now (11:45 a.m. on Thursday) there has been no press conference scheduled at Providence.

Be sure to continuously check this blog for updates.

Ironically, the UMass basketball team is scheduled to have its end-of-the-year banquet tonight.

It could be quite interesting to see Ford -- if it happens -- there AFTER he accepted the job at Providence. Although if he does take the job, he may not show up at the banquet at all.

So many possibilities.
