Just a half inning after UMass cut the lead down to one, senior Bryan Adamski moved from first base to make his eighth pitching appearance of the season in the top of the last (7th) inning.
Adamski allowed four runs (three earned) in the inning.
8-3 Holy Cross lead after six and a half.
