The Massachusetts softball team continued its dominance of the A-10
by sweeping George Washington (20-23, 8-10) in a double header Sunday.

Stacy Cullington and Amanda Acampora both hit a pair of home runs to lead UMass (29-12-1, 14-0 Atlantic 10) to 4-2, and 9-1 wins today at the UMass Softball Complex. Samantha Salato also hit her second home run of the season in Game 1.

Cullington now has 14 homers on the year tying former UMass great and current assistant coach KJ Kelley for the school's single-season home run record. She has five games left in the regular season to break that mark.

Brandice Balschmiter pitched Game 1, picking up her 21st win on the year, while freshman Bailey Sanders got the 'W' in the second game, upping her record to 8-4.

UMass plays Boston College Tuesday at home before wrapping up the A-1o schedule this weekend against Fordham and La Salle.
