Holy Cross wins 8-3

The Crusaders made the best of their one-time shot at the Beanpot consolation game, winning by a score of 8-3 in seven innings.

Scott Hampe (3-3) picks up the win. He pitched a scoreless bottom of the second inning, and was one of seven Holy Cross pitchers in the game.

Mike Dicato (0-6) picked up the loss.

Holy Cross finished the game with 12 hits, opposed to UMass' three.
